Mr. Hale is responsible for managing all aspects of the investment activities of the Fund including capital raising, deal sourcing and investment management of portfolio companies. Rock Hill currently has investments in ten operating companies servicing a variety of industries. Mr. Hale currently serves as a Director of seven of the Rock Hill portfolio companies.
Mr. Hale was a co-founder and the Executive Chairman of ConGlobal Industries, Inc. (“ConGlobal”) from September 2004 until its sale to the Carlyle Group in December 2013. ConGlobal operates 32 intermodal facilities throughout the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica servicing the international trade, logistics and transportation industries. In addition, Mr. Hale is the co-founder and a Director of HMC Capital ("HMC"). HMC provides hydraulic equipment and service to the energy industry.
Mr. Hale has served as a Director for several public and numerous private corporations. He is the past President and Director of the Houston Venture Capital Association and is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Hale has also served as a Director of several charitable organizations in Houston and continues to serve as a Director and Executive Committee Member of Boys & Girls Country of Houston and a Director of the Boys & Girls Country Endowment Fund. He received a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 1985 and is a certified public accountant.
